About Me
I was born and grew up in the old cotton mill town of Oldham, educated at the Manchester School of Art, and since graduating in 2010, have been working as a full-time creative, accumulating a wealth of experience and skills in branding, animation, web design, marketing, advertising, interiors and print.
Besides the vital soft-skills required of a designer (client and colleague communication, problem-solving, ideation, people and time management), I've also honed practical skills in art direction, branding, graphic design, image retouching, typesetting, web design, UX design, editorial design, motion graphics, animation and video editing with extensive experience using the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, as well as many of the popular website and email builder tools (WordPress, Elementor, Divi, Webflow, Wix Studio, HubSpot, Campaign Monitor and Mailchimp).
In 2018, I set out on a new adventure up north to Scotland with my tattoo artist wife Tam and our wee staffy dog Miley, and currently work as Design Lead at Elastic Creative, Edinburgh, guiding a team of creatives, producers and external partners to do their best work on any project, regardless of scale or channel.
